Broadcasts
Send one published template revision to a saved audience in a single durable run, then track per-recipient outcomes from the campaign run view.
A broadcast is one run, not a sequence
A broadcast is a single campaign run: one published template revision, one saved audience snapshot, one pass. A workflow is a multi-step sequence that enrolls contacts over time. Both live under Sequences, because a run is always launched against an active sequence.
Launch a broadcast
Dashboard route: /dashboard/sequences.
- 01Open Sequences and choose Send campaign to open the Launch Campaign dialog.
- 02Enter a Campaign Name and pick the Active Sequence the run belongs to.
- 03Pick the Published Template Revision to send. The run pins that revision.
- 04Confirm the sender, which is pinned to the sequence, and choose the Target Tag that defines the audience.
- 05Check the estimate, which reports how many recipients are ready, and refresh it after changing options.
- 06Choose Launch Campaign. Delivery progress and per-recipient outcomes appear in the campaign run view.
Run states
Every campaign run reports one of these statuses.
preparingThe saved audience is being prepared for durable delivery.sendingFan-out is in progress from the latest saved checkpoint.pausedFan-out is paused and can resume from the saved checkpoint.completedEvery recipient reached a durable delivery outcome.partial_failureThe run finished with failures. Failed recipients can be retried.cancelledThe run was cancelled and no further recipients are processed.
Recipient outcomes
Each recipient in a run ends on one of these outcomes, counted in the run view.
queuedAccepted into the run and waiting to be dispatched.provider_acceptedHanded to the sending provider and counted as accepted.failedDelivery failed for this recipient. Eligible for a retry.suppressedSkipped because the address is on a suppression list.
Run controls
Which actions the campaign run view offers, by status.
